Your tax deductible contribution will help YOU ensure a galactically stellar future for your museum. All you need to do is to download and fill out the donor form (see link below), return it with your tax deductible gift, and your star will be prominently and permanently displayed on the outside of Cummins Planetarium. Each star may have up to 20 characters per line engraved upon its surface. All proceeds go directly to support the exhibits and programs of the Rocky Mount Children's Museum and Science Center. Museum Stars also make beautiful memorable gifts.

The Rocky Mount Children's Museum and Science Center (CMSC) has been providing hands-on learning opportunities to our City's young and young-at-heart for 50 + years! Our wonderful new location in the Imperial Centre for Arts and Sciences opens the door to endless new possibilities. The Museum, home to the state-of-the-art Cummins Planetarium, will be bringing dynamic new exhibits, lively new shows, and exciting new chances to learn to the Rocky Mount area for a long time to come. During the next several years, as our community strives to encourage industry and business, these cultural advantages will be critical.

Unfortunately, not all of our children and families are easily able to take advantage of this resource. For this reason, the Museum sponsors a program called "Sunday Fun Day". Every week, on Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 5pm, admission to the museum is FREE to absolutely everyone. Generally, several thousand kids who might not otherwise have the chance are able to visit our wonderful Museum. For example, the Imperial Centre for Arts and Sciences served more than 100,000 individuals last year. The financial burden of this program is, regrettably, becoming increasingly difficult for the Museum alone to sustain.

We, the FRIENDS of the CMSC, would like to offer you the opportunity to help the less fortunate of our community. The museum is asking you to sponsor our "Sunday Fun Day" program. A donation of $1000 will help subsidize FREE admission to the Museum on Wednesday afternoons! In return, your business will have the pleasure of knowing that you have contributed to our City's cultural enrichment and education. Your business name will appear on signage at the front of the Museum, as well as on our digital marquis at the entrance to Cummins Planetarium for a 12 month period. All of the visitors to the Museum will know of your important and generous sponsorship. Last year the Imperial Centre for Arts and Sciences served more than 100,000 individuals last year.

In addition, your business will also have a chance to actually participate in a Wonderful Wednesday! Come and show our young people what you do! Sponsor a health screening, tell us about safety in your workplace, show our children what role you play in our community! Be a visible and active supporter of the culture of learning in Rocky Mount.
